We can save you research time by creating a customized list of potential facilities for you or your parent to move to.

Rightsizing - Many older adults have not moved in 30, 40 or 50 years and have accumulated a lot of personal belongings. Some have personal collections, supplies from a hobby and plenty of family memorabilia. The thought of dealing with all the "stuff" that has accumulated can be overwhelming. Home Changes with Heart can help you with the emotional and physical process of letting go of the stuff that doesn't fit into your new lifestyle. We help sort, and disperse items that you decide to send to family, friends or charities. Whether you are moving to a new, smaller home, or staying in place, we can provide ideas and information to make it easier to downsize the lifetime of accumulation. You make the decisions. We will arrange shipments, pickups, storage and rubbish removal.

We will provide a new residence floor plan and work with you to choose furniture that fits the space and arrange it to maximize a comfortable and safe space. We can help you find a mover, supervise packing and maintain the safety of your current home during the packing process. For move day Home Changes with Heart will plan the schedule and logistics to minimize the difficulty and trauma for the client. On the day of the move we will insure that critical spaces around the bed and bathroom are set up for the client. We provide complete unpacking and arranging belongings to familiar patterns from the previous residence.
