About "Home Changes With Heart"...
Carolyn Seifried is the founder and owner of Home Changes with Heart LLC. Carolyn is a planner, project manager and energetic team player who built, executed and continuously improved the processes and programs needed for an outstanding Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance program at her former employer, a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company. Prior to her work in EHS Carolyn worked for the State of NJ as a regulator and used her college teacher certification to teach Junior High Science.
During the last few years in her career with the pharmaceutical company Carolyn was challenged with balancing work, and family as her parents aged and needed new living arrangements. She had the privilege and joy of working with her brother and sister to assist their parents right size and move from their home in an Active Adult Community to a Continuing Care Facility Apartment. After the death of her father, she helped her mother again pare down her personal belongings and make her mom's Assisted Living single room her new home.
Following a corporate downsizing from her 16 year director's position Carolyn decided it was time to make a change and pursue a career in senior transitions so she could assist more families with the physical and emotional demands of relocating, downsizing or modifying their homes. Carolyn has completed the Certified Relocation Transition Specialist program which is recognized and endorsed by the National Association of Senior Moves Managers. Carolyn is currently working on becoming a Certified Age In Place Specialist (CAPS) so that she can use her planning, rightsizing and compassion to assist seniors and their families with preparing a home for aging in place.
Carolyn and her husband Bill have been residents of Sandyston Township in Sussex County for over 20 years. They have two daughters. Carolyn has participated in supporting her community as a member of the Girl Scouts, her church and as a part time substitute teacher in the local school. She has also been a member of the Sandyston Township Planning Board and done some part time work for Project Self Sufficiency.
A talented and warm individual, Carolyn will work with Seniors and their adult children to plan and ease the challenge of making home transitions.
